Malaysia China Tea Chamber of Commerce(MCTCC) Visits China Tea(Wuzhou), Jointly Opening a New Chapter for Liupao Tea Global Trade
On July 4th, a group of guests from the Malaysia China Tea Chamber of Commerce(MCTCC) embarked on an in-depth business visit to China Tea(Wuzhou). Among its member entities, Makmur Malaya Sdn. Bhd. and Lian Leong Thai Import & Export Corp. Sdn. Bhd. are both long-term partners of China Tea(Wuzhou), with a collaborative journey spanning over half a century.
During the visit, visitors were toured inside China Tea (Wuzhou) plants and office building. They reviewed the origins of Liupao tea craftsmanship, witnessed together the grand ceremony of bamboo basket tea debut, and reached purchasing intentions on several new products. This initiative infuses the Southeast Asian tea market with fresh vitality, unveiling a new chapter of liupao tea export of China Tea (Wuzhou).
Journey of Heritage: Inheriting History, Forging the Future
In China Tea (Wuzhou), the delegation from Malaysia walked through the historical and cultural exhibition hall of the company, the old workshops of 1960s, and the modernized and intelligentized processing facility.



Documented original contracts, and many samples collections brought back their memories of the remarkable era of early tea trade. In the highly advanced tea factory with automated production lines and standardized tea cellars, guests had an on-site experience and well understand the evolution of China’s liupao tea industry from old times to the new era of standardization and mechanization.



Through this site tour, visitors has gained a deeper understanding on the inheritance and development of Liupao tea industry, reinforcing their confidence in China Tea’s exceptional quality and safety assurance.
The "Custom-made Tea Debut Ceremony": Treasuring Fine Teas, Conveying Sincere Bonds
A highlight of the visit was the ceremonial "Custom-made Tea Debut" of some new bamboo-basketed liupao tea products. Mr.Li, GM of Makmur, Mr.Xu, GM of Lian Leong Tha, and Mr.Li Xiang, GM of China Tea(Wuzhou), jointly presided the launching ceremony of the new products "Wan Mark" and "Long Mark". They sealed tea samples with their signatures to commemorate the meaningful moment.


In the days ahead, the "Wan Mark" and "Long Mark", carrying the craftsmanship of Wuzhou tea masters and the affection of Southeast Asian tea merchants, will arrive in Malaysia. These two new tea products conveying warm greetings from China’s tea land are expecting to vitalize overseas tea enthusiasts there a rich and mellow taste experience.
Forging a New Chapter: Deepening Mutual Trust, Pursuing Shared Growth


Amid the lingering fragrance of tea, a signing ceremony was held for purchasing the new products. Based on their recognition of the product quality and mutual trust, Makmur and Lian Leong Thai secured several new products, as well as exclusive orders of the "Wan Mark" and "Long Mark". Following the signing ceremony, they exchanged gifts, fostering warm friendship.


Two long-term clients, with over 50 years of cooperation, stated frankly: "Over decades, technology, production conditions, trade methods, and logistics have advanced with each passing day. Yet, the consistent trust and friendship between Chinese and Malaysian tea fellows have only grown stronger with time."

This visit has further consolidated and deepened the friendship and mutual trust between the two sides. Looking ahead, China Tea(Wuzhou) will continue to leverage Malaysia's geographical advantage as an important trading hub, further develop the tea product portfolios that cater to Southeast Asian consuming habits, strengthen bilateral communication, and actively involve in various interactive activities. These efforts aim to enhance the promotion of Chinese tea culture across the globe, demonstrate more lively tea stories, inject enduring vitality into the industry. The overall development of "tea culture, tea industry, and tea technology" would step forward steadily and achieve long-term growth.
