On May 21, International Tea Day, the Vintage Tea Tasting and Consumption Revitalization Campaign was successfully held at the Guangdong Fangcun Tea Mall, with associated parties covering industry associations, governmental bodies, enterprises present. This activity aimed to drive the standardized and quality development of Fangcun vintage tea sector through government and enterprise collaboration.   

Standing as a front-runner in vintage tea standard formulation, China Tea(Yunnan) has long been dedicated to developing the evaluation framework for vintage Pu'er tea. After strict review by organizing committee, it was selected as a designated vintage tea tasting entity, further solidifying its lead in building vintage tea standards, market regulation, and consumption upgrade.

China Tea(Yunnan) has been deeply involved in the vintage tea standard issues of Guangzhou Tea Association in consecutive years, consistently driving the standardized and normalized development of the industry.

During the roundtable dialogue, Mr. Sheng, GM of China Tea (Yunnan), delivered key insights on core industry topics. He emphasized that as one of the world's primary distribution hubs for Pu'er tea, Fangcun possesses unparalleled industrial advantages. However, the current circulation faces significant hurdles. The market has demand for vintage tea, what really lacks is trust and standard.

In response to some challenges like the lack of industry standards and market chaos, Mr. Sheng officially introduced China Tea's Three-Tier Evaluation System for vintage tea.

Quality Appraisal: Technology-Empowered, High-Precision Anti-Counterfeiting. Leveraging PTQ professional review and aromatic compound detection technology. It scientifically verifies the aging value at the technical level.

On May 28, the construction of its Menghai site, the Intelligent Plant, was officially started. Menghai is one of the core producing areas of Pu'er tea. The new plant will inject a powerful momentum into fostering new quality productive forces across tea industry, aiming to make “China Tea(Yunnan) a front runner in the next 5 years, contributing to a higher standard development of the industry.
