Since 1980s, in order to develop the domestic market, China Tea(Fujian), headquartered in Fujian province, started to build its sales network inside and outside its base Province. 

 

In 2013, the company's domestic business made a big step.

 

Since March 2014, China Tea Butterfly Tea Shops opened, becoming a window for presenting the company image and a place to bring the company’s white tea and scented tea directly to people’s daily lives.

At the end of 2012, the first trial production of compressed aged white tea cakes has been successfully completed. Later in 2013, the company initiated The Old-tree White Tea (5901), The Zodiac White Tea Cake and other new products of white tea, unveiling a new chapter for this company’s butterfly white tea in domestic market.

 

The company has hosted many subject forums such as the China White Tea Summit Forum, arousing hot talks in the industry.

 

In 2017, commemorative white tea cakes such as "Tea Longevity (Chashou Cha)" and "Tea Sage(Chasheng Cha)" were launched.

In 2020, on the company's 70th anniversary, the "Masterpiece" - Butterfly White Tea Imprint grandly unveiled, embodying a century-old spirit of craftsmanship.

 

In January 2019, the G28 high-speed train with the title sponsorship of "China Tea Butterfly White Tea" departed, and related advertisements were also put on bus bodies and stops, taxi LED screens, radio stations, etc.

In November 2021, the new product launching event was jointly held with the local government in Sanfang Qixiang, Fuzhou, and the China Tea Songxi Jiulong Dabai White Tea product series made their debut.

From north to south, China Tea(Fujian) has participated in hundreds of tea expos in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Jinan, Xi'an, Qinghai, Harbin, and Guizhou. It also delivered an annual national distributors conference each year.

 

Since 2021, China Tea delicately crafted the high-standard "Golden China Tea" series to highlight the company strategy of "Good Tea in China Tea". 

 

In 2025, the release of “Sheng Qing Na Fu”Butterfly white tea completed the first round of twelve zodiac products.

In 2021, China Tea(Fujian) established a factory in Fuding, the core producing area of fujian white tea, aiming to set a modern tea processing base. The authorization of the "Fuding White Tea" National Geographical Indication Certification was also successfully obtained in the same year. In March 2022, the factory was grandly opened.

Since 2022, new product launches have been held in Fuding every March.

In 2023, "Qiao Bai Jin (Golden white tea chocolate-like bar)" white tea products entered the prime time advertising slots of CCTV. This series is a fashionable and easy-to-carry portfolio design recommended by China Tea.

In June 2024, China Tea Butterfly released its meticulously crafted "Masterpiece"- Master Tea • The King Peony 5615. Simultaneously, some cheaper products like "Butterfly Selection" were launched for daily common consuming. In 2025, the "Butterfly Selection" family welcomed the floral aroma black tea, sharing more good teas to people.

Between 2024 and 2025, through innovation and transformation, the company introduced many new products enriching diversified tea drinking experiences to consumers.
