From late 1950s, "Butterfly" jasmine tea in cans was improved through multiple iterations based on the foundation of gift tea cans. In 1961, the "Butterfly" was successfully drawn on the colorful cylindrical canned jasmine tea of 150g and 250g specs. From then on, this iconic pattern of China Tea(Fujian) was put into use on both inner and outer packaging of its jasmine tea products.
The "Butterfly" features the beautiful butterfly pattern, which was designed by a Shanghai company. It was exclusively used for jasmine tea products. Jasmine tea carries a floral fragrance, and as the saying goes, "fragrance attracts butterflies." This harmonious relationship between flowers and butterflies in nature echoes with natural, nutritious, delicious, and safe product property.
On September 1, 1961, it was officially registered and is approved by relevant authorities for exclusively using by China Tea(Fujian) for its jasmine tea export.
Since then, the "butterfly" has been carriing the "rock candy sweetness and fresh floral fragrance" of Fuzhou jasmine tea flying beyond national borders.
On October 31, 1979, during its renewal, the scope of the "Butterfly" was expanded to cover all tea products of the company.
