The sheer strength of Shifeng Longjing: Why is it the undisputed 'MVP' of green teas?
If Chinese tea is a slowly unfolding ink wash painting, then Green Tea is undoubtedly a brilliant and defining stroke.
If the myriad of green teas is a "Martial Arts World" (Jianghu) where heroes gather, then Shifeng Longjing would be as the supreme "Grandmaster”tier.
Carrying a thousand years of noble character and ethereal grace, Shifeng Longjing takes the "Center Stage" of the green tea realm. It is more than just tea; it is the soul of Jiangnan landscapes and a treasure distilled through millennia of time.
Renowned worldwide for its rarity and elegance, this cup of Shifeng Longjing has become the unforgettable "Spring Delicacy" cherished by every tea drinker.
Come and discover the true "power" of Shifeng Longjing. What makes it the undisputed "MVP" of the green tea world?
Value lies in Rarity: The Core of the Core
As early as the Tang Dynasty, the Tea Sage Lu Yu mentioned in “The Classic of Tea” that "the Tianzhu and Lingyin temples produce tea." Stories telling that by the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Qianlong traveled south of the Yangtze River six times, visiting Longjing four times. He personally designated the eighteen tea plants in front of the Hugong Temple on Shifeng Mountain as "Imperial Tea."

As the saying goes, "Among all famous teas, Longjing is one of the finest; among all Longjing, Shifeng is the supreme." This unparalleled preference stems from an irreplicable origin.
According to national standards, Longjing is divided into three major producing areas, but only those from the "West Lake-producing area" can be called "West Lake Longjing." Within this region, there are primary and secondary producing areas. The famous "Shi, Long, Yun, Hu, Mei" are collectively recognized as five major core producing areas in Primary Protected Area.
"Shi" refers specifically to the Shifeng terroir. China Tea’s Shifeng Longjing is made of meticulously selected fresh tea leaves sourced from this very core. With low annual production, limited acreage and high price, it is born with an inherent aura of nobility. Each leaf is truly Nature’s Limited Edition.

Mountains and waters nurture the tea, while the tea reflects their soul. The ethereal grace of the Shifeng terrior is a natural cradle for fine tea. As “The Classic of Tea” states, "The best tea grows among weathered rocks." Shifeng Mountain’s unique white sandy soil, which is loose, breathable, and rich in minerals, provides a excellent condition for the growth of tea trees.
Embraced by rolling hills and shrouded mist year-round, the tea trees thrive under the gentle nourishment of diffused sunlight. The significant temperature swings between day and night allow the leaves to grow slowly, quietly absorbing the natural essence. The spiritual energy of the mountains and waters dissolves into every single tea bud, bestowing Shifeng Longjing with its signature mellow taste and elegant aroma.

Spring Buds as Precious as Gold: The Art of Meticulous Harvesting
China Tea’s Shifeng Longjing selects only the first flush of pre-Qingming fresh leaves. The entire harvesting process strictly adheres to the "one bud, one leaf" standard. Tea pickers use a gentle "fingertips plucking", ensuring the delicate buds and pekoe remain undamaged. After rigorous screening and natural loss, it takes approximately 5 catties (2.5kg) of tender buds to refine just 1 catty (500g) of dry tea. Every single bud is a potent "concentration" of the Jiangnan spring.

Beyond the Machine: The Wisdom of the Hand
China Tea’s Shifeng Longjing is handcrafted by veteran masters with over 20 years of experience. We remain committed to the "Ten Traditional Hand-Frying Techniques"—shaking, patting, flattening, spreading, tossing, straightening, stretching, Grasping, pressing, and rubbing. This is not just a preservation of heritage, but a relentless pursuit of perfection.

Artisans control the heat with their palms and shape the leaves with their strength, guiding the tea through a "trial by fire" in the wok. This process does more than create its signature flat, sleek, and pointed appearance; it locks in the natural aroma and flavor at the precise temperature, a soulful craftsmanship that no machine can ever simulate.
A cup of authentic China Tea Shifeng Longjing possesses a flat, sleek, pointed and even dry tea shape, with evident pekoe. The color is brown rice-ish and yellow-green. These are all the unique features of a premium Shifeng Longjing.
Upon infusion, the tea liquor is tender green, bright and clear, with an interplay of orchid and nutty bean fragrances wafting through the air. With the light sip, a vibrant, mellow, and refreshing flavor blooms across the palate, then a sweet aftertaste lingers long over the throat, leaving the mouth refreshed with a long-lasting finish.
Shifeng Longjing Tea more than just the "MVP" of green teas, it is a seasonal delicacy and a refined treasure of spring. To every tea enthusiast, it represents the everlasting spring of Jiangnan that never fades in the heart.
