In 2025, China Tea Liupao Tea once again join hands with its Malaysian partner. Named with the Chinese character ”Wan” and sealed in traditional bamboo basket, “China Tea Wan-Mark Basketed Liupao Tea 2025”has been launched, marking a new chapter of cooperation between the two sides. It represents not only the inheritance of tea processing techniques, but also a shared vision for prosperity deep in the heart of tea enthusiasts from both nations.

The Distinctive Betel-Nut Aroma of Classic Export Product

Recreating the classic is the core philosophy highly valued and pursued by“China Tea Wan-Mark Basket 2025”. The tea recipe of traditionally export big bamboo basket is applied in this product. Meticulously selected and blended by experienced tea masters, it aims to replicate the distinct betel-nut aroma and layered flavor of classic export Liupao tea.

The dry leaves are dark brown in color, with tightly rolled stripes. The tea soup would gradually get bright and reddish-brown after infusing hot water to awake the dry tea. The long-lasting betel-nut aroma fills in the air, refreshing and relaxed. It tastes full-bodied and mellow, with an apparent betel-nut note and a sweet aftertaste, promoting salivation and leaving both body and mind at ease. The brewed tea leaves are dark brown and supple, holding excellent aging potentiality.

A Wish for a Flourishing Tea Industry

In July 2025, Makmur company came to Wuzhou again for a visit. During the grand opening ceremony of the product, Mr. Li Zhixian, General Manager of Makmur company, and Mr. Li Xiang, General Manager of China Tea(Wuzhou) jointly opened the first basket of “China Tea Wan-Mark Basketed Liupao Tea 2025”. They took out the tea, sealed and signed it, marking this special moment.

This Liupao tea product inherits the true essence of traditional Liupao craftsmanship while  adopting the Chinese character “Wan”as its mark in an innovative way. This not only symbolizes a developing and prosperous tea industry, but also honor the enduring partnership between the two sides. Inspired by the Chinese name of its partner, “Wan” is used act as a testament to the lasting bond between the two regions，representing that generations of tea artisans have been adhering to both tradition and innovation, and also striving for excellence. With tea as the bridge, both parties will continue to write a new chapter of win-win cooperation.
